SARWG PENOLA

Penola is hosting the 16^th annual SA Rural Women's Gathering with a group of enthusiastic and talented local women forming an organising committee to bring this event to the Limestone Coast on the weekend of the 17th - 19th August 2012.

The stated aims of the SA Rural Women’s Gathering are to:
• Develop communication networks knowledge and skill through participation, experience and contact with other women.
• Link women from rural backgrounds with members of formal or informal networks across South Australia.
• Provide access to opportunities for self-development, self-expression and information.

Friday the 17^th August will open with a mayoral reception, and an evening of entertainment.

Saturday morning speakers are Ms Jo Fincham and Dr Sarah Mott with an extensive workshop/tour programme.
Keynote speaker Ita Buttrose and singer Elijah Maddern will provide the entertainment for the Saturday night dinner

Sunday morning a Spiritual Spot is followed by speakers Ms Elizabeth Young and Ms Bronwyn Roberts.
